CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Drawing. Pen and black ink, pencil, white opaque highlights on laminate board. Study for a ceramic plate. Scalloped border plate with sprigs of flowers and leaves on either side of wide rim. Central area with two large pheasants and two chicks in landscape. Central large pheasant stands upright, second large pheasant stands behind with beak to ground. Two chicks at proper left.
CONDITIOIN: Good. Old horizontal tape marks above and below image; proper lower left corner missing. See conservation report in file.
