CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Anthropomorphic helmet mask, forehead divided into three low relief circles, with two incised "star" shapes on each side. Parallel incised lines decorate the cheeks and low-relief concentric circles ornament the center of the upper lip. The open mouth shows pointed teeth (missing on P.L. side). The ears are set low and far back on the head. Human hair is set in a recessed area above the forehead. CONDITION: Very good. Minor abrasions to lower edge and edge slightly splintered on the back P.L. side. Teeth missing on the P.L. side of mouth. Hair worn. Old number "3AFN10" written on tape affixed to the back of the mask.
