CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Porcelain cup (a) and saucer (b), part of green and white dinner service (68.87.1-13). White porcelain with vitreous glaze. Cylindrical cup with tapered foot rim; handle formed by concave band as the grip and curving bands joining grip to cup. Round saucer with curving sides. Applied decorations in gilding and green paint: around both the outer top edge of cup and rim of saucer: gilded band and border of ribbon and tassel design interspersed with roundels containing stylized fleur-de-lis; stylized leaves on handle.
CONDITION: Good.
