    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Natural (light tan) banana-leaf-fiber-cloth (basho-fu) from Okinawa dress with warp-and-weft kasuri (ikat) designs of scattered checks and lozenges, stitched into a high-waisted dress with a flaring skirt and short, tapering sleeves. Dress opens in front from neck to waist and has two pearl buttons. Condition: extremely minor stains and insect damage.
