CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Pitcher, porcelain, translucent white body with blue-violet glaze; raised Japonesque design with two asymmetrical floral and leafy branches emerging from top of mat-gold lobe shaped handle. Opposite side decorated with butterfly. Four gold cloud-like areas interspersed with applied designs incised into thick pigments of gold, green, and brown. Gold-edged, rounded top curves upward and inward at the center with "C"-shaped spout. Narrow round gold foot.
CONDITION - Excellent.
