CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Standing bronze figure of a cat-headed goddess. The goddess wears a long decorated sleeveless shirt. In her right hand she holds a sistrum (made separately). In her left hand she holds a lion-headed aegis to her chest. Her right ear is pierced for an earring. There is a depression atop her head for insertion of some headdress. Condition: Back of figure split open and was once attacked by disease. Tip of left ear bent back and sistrum is also damaged. Brown-black patina covers the rest of the piece.
