    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Upper part of wooden staff of The Chief Craftsman (or artist) of Amen, ‘h3-tw-‘3 (Aha-tu-aa). Cylindrical form capped by four disks alternately of ivory and ebony. Near top edge of shaft inlaid scene of owner worshipping the Theban Triad. Inlaid offering formula to Amen and Ptah down front of staff. Presumably a funerary piece. Condition: Good. Small and scattered sections of inlay (paste?) missing.
