CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Hand-formed and sun-dried Nile mud ushabti of the Chantress of Amon, Ainmose. Covered in white slip with details in black. Mummiform with hoes and sack on back. One column of inscription. One of a group 37.156E thru 37.161E. Condition: Poor condition. Broken in two at midpoint of figure and later repaired. Now in one piece, but feet are missing. Paint weathered and very faint. Inscription largely obliterated, as are details of face.
