CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Orange Spoon, silver-plate, plain elongated bowl and pointed end. There is a slight swelling in the handle immediately after the transition from the bowl. The sides of the handle are then straight until after the mid-point when they flare out and then in to form a slight projection and then out again to form the oval end of the handle that comes to a rounded point. The molded decoration begins with a lemon at the beginning of the handle and then a vein with sparse leaves that meanders up the handle until the projection after the mid-point that contains a large molded orange with more leaves above it that frame an empty field (intended for initials) and then three lemons or leaves in the rounded Pont of the end of the handle. The fruits have a textured finish. The reverse has similar leafy decoration, but no fruits. Unknown Pattern.
CONDITION - Very good. Very slight plate loss on heel of bowl. Light overall scratching due to normal wear.
