Applied oval on bottom reads: 'PUBLISHED BY / ELKINGTON & CO", surrounding "JUNE 1866". Stamped on edge of base left to right: crown over "E&C" enclosed in shield. Then enclosed in separate squares old English "E", "&", "Co", and "D". Registry mark on bottom: top horizontal oval enclosing "1" over diamond. In corners of diamond from top clockwise: "W", "W", "5", "11" with "Ro" in center.
