An exhibition of photographs by young people between the ages of 7 and 17 is being planned by the Junior Membership Department of The Brooklyn Museum. Entitled “The Young I”, the show will be on view in the Department’s new gallery on the fifth floor mezzanine from January 13 through February.
All children are invited to submit photographs for the exhibition. Entries should preferably be 8 by 10 inches in size, mounted on board, and labelled with name, age, address, title of photograph, school, and grade. Photographs should be brought or sent to the Junior Membership Department, The Brooklyn Museum, 188 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, New York 11238 before January 1.
The Brooklyn Museum, on Eastern Parkway at Washington Avenue, is easily reached by subway from Manhattan. Ample automobile parking is provided at the rear of the building. The Museum is open daily from 10 to 5, and on Sundays and Holidays from 1 to 5. The Museum is closed on Christmas Day.
