Suitable to the Easter Season the Museum will show the large painting of the “Sixth Hour” by Nandor Honti. This enormous canvas depicts Christ on Calvary awaiting his execution, surrounded by the mocking populace and the characters usually associated with the event. The canvas is loaned to the Museum for an indefinite time by the owner, Miss. S. A. Klechner of the New York City.
The exhibitions of Photography at the Brooklyn Museum will be continued through the month of April. The two exhibitions are the Forty-second Annual Exhibition of the Photographic Department of the Brooklyn Institute of Arts and Sciences, and a large group of International Photographers. The popularity of the exhibitions and the unusual attendance have warranted the extension of the period of display for that prints.
