To launch its Spring Semester beginning the week of February 7, The Brooklyn Museum Art School, Eastern Parkway and Washington Avenue, will hold Open House on Sunday, January 23, between 1:00 and 4:00 P.M. The public is invited to watch demonstrations of weaving, sculpture, and jewelry, ceramic, stained glass, batik and printmaking. An instructor and model will be present for visitors who would like to try sketching from life. The administrative staff and faculty of the Art School will be available to counsel prospective students, to review portfolios and discuss courses. Refreshments will be served.
The annual Spring Faculty Exhibition will be on view; interested students will be able to see current concerns and directions.
