This season’s series of one-man art shows by selected students of The Brooklyn Museum Art School will open on October 24th in the Little Gallery of the Art School.
Chosen from work submitted to Sarah Faunce, curator of The Brooklyn Musem’s Paintings and Sculpture Department, the 70-71 series of monthly mini-shows includes paintings and conceptual art.
The eight artists whose work will be shown are:

The Brooklyn Museum Art School, headed by Jolyon Hofsted, has an enrollment of over 1000 students this fall. Its 33 instructors, all professional artists, teach more than 70 full - and part-time courses. Painting and drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, cloisonné enameling, welding, woodworking, stained glass and batik classes are offered.
A special weekend program for high school students is taught by professional artists.
