The Brooklyn Museum opened on September 15 an exhibition of approximately 30 photographs by Kathleen and Vladimir Telberg-von-Teleheim. The exhibition is being shown in the Photographic Galleries on the second floor and will remain on view through October 24.
The photographs which are in general abstract and which reveal a great interest in psychiatry, are composed by superimposing several negatives.
Mr. Telberg-von-Teleheim, who is assisted by his wife, was born in Russia of Swedish-Russian parents. He has lived most of his life in China but came to the United States and was graduated from Wittenberg College in Springfield, Ohio where he obtained a B.S. degree in chemistry.
Several of his photographs were exhibited in the recent exhibition “In and Out of Focus” at the Museum of Modern Art and he has exhibited paintings at the Four Arts Society and the Norton Art Gallery in Florida.
