June 3, 1930
An exhibition of the art work of former students of art courses at Alexander Hamilton High School opens in the Library Gallery of the Brooklyn Museum on Sunday, June 8th and will continue through Sunday, June 22. The alumni of these courses will hold a meeting which will be in the form of an official opening on Sunday afternoon.
These courses were formerly carried on at the school when it was the Boy's Commercial High School.
The exhibition will show the work of the former students going back about fifteen years and will consist of commercial design, painting, drawing, and sculpture. It will give an interesting view of what students in these courses can accomplish in the commercial world with the start they have received in the high school courses.
