The Brooklyn Museum is pleased to announce that so far there have been thirteen sales of water colors from its large exhibition which has proved so popular and has met eith such enthusiasm from the critics. Due to this interest the closing date has been changed from February 11th to February 24th.

The Brooklyn Museum is showing a special exhibition of water colors and drawings that are recent additions to its important water color collection. All but three of the works now on special view were purchased from the large water color show which closed on February 23. The other three pieces are recent gifts to the Museum.
They are hanging in an alcove of Gallery 17 on the third floor of the new wing. The purchases are: "Golden Lillies" by Charles A. Aiken, "Sommer Bros. Stoves and 'Hardware" by Clarence H. Carter, "Afternoon Light" by J. Frank Copeland, "Red Roofs" by Julius Delbos, "Fog Lifting" by Henry G. Keller, "Native Huts" by Robert Martin, "Charcoal Drawing" by Frank Mura, "Luigetta" by Frank H. Schwarz, "Jungle Stream, Santo Domingo" by Carl Sprinchorn and "The Cabin - Tennessee" by John Whorf. The gifts are: "Flat Tire" by Anne Goldthwaite, "Three Nudes" and "Two Nudes", drawings by J. Mortimer Lichtenauer.
