The Brooklyn Museum announces its Print Department has obtained for exhibition a group of Modern British Posters from the collections of Mr. Henry L. Sparks and Mr. Frederick C. Kendall. These will be placed on view in the Museum's Print Galleries on Sunday, May 10th, where they will remain through June 9th. The catalogue lists one hundred and forty-five numbers, a large part of which pertains to the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley and many more to the excellent advertising policies of the London Underground Railway. The collection has not been shown hitherto in this country. Among the artists represented are Frank Brangwyn, with several of his transportation posters, Spencer Pryse with designs for the Wembley show, Horace Taylor with his "Toy" poster, MacDonald Gill with his "Peter Pan Map of Kensington, C. Lovat Fraser, E. McKnight Kauffer, Sir William Orpen, Fred Taylor, Tony Sarg, G. Henry, Maurice Griffenhagen, Dorothy Hutton, Guy Kortright, Eva Savary, and many others.
