Enjoy a variety of art- and poetry-centered activities perfect for couples, friends, or individuals. Explore at your own pace, spark conversation, and discover playful ways to connect and create.

    Ask for a Love Note
    American Art Galleries, 5th Floor
    Make yourself the muse! Encounter poets from The Poetry Society of New York  in Toward Joy: New Frameworks for American Art and take home a unique ode written just for you. Poets will ask questions and then take a few minutes to compose a custom poem that celebrates your essence.

    Gallery Tours: A Few of Our Favorite Things
    Meet in the Lobby, 1st Floor
    Discover your new favorite artworks on an immersive tour of the Brooklyn Museum. Join one of our A.​​R.​​T.​​ Guides, trained volunteers who are passionate about art and the conversations it encourages, for a tour of Judy Chicago’s The Dinner Party. Explore this icon of feminist art as a love letter to women artists.
  • 1–4 pm

    Valentine’s Day Card Making
    Egyptian Galleries, 3rd Floor
    Decorate a heartfelt card for someone you care about. Use colorful materials to write a warm message and even add a doodle, drawing inspiration from sculptures in our Egyptian Galleries.

    Pop-Up Talks
    Ask for location details at the Admissions Desk
    Maximize your time at the Museum! Join a short talk to learn about various artworks with one of our A.​​R.​​T.​​ Guides. Conversations are repeated every 15 minutes.
