Lady Uallach
Date of birth unknown; d. circa 932/934, Ireland
Uallach was a famous poet in Ireland. Her death is recorded in the Annals of Inisfallen, a chronicle of medieval Irish history written by the monks of Inisfallen Abbey, near Killarney, in which she is described as banfile Érenn, the “poetess of Ireland.”
