Karoline Pichler

Little is known about the life of Austrian novelist Karoline Pichler. She hosted a literary salon in Vienna and wrote historical romances, including Agathokles (1808), Die Belagerung Wiens (1824), Die Schweden in Prag (1827), Die Wiedereroberung Wiens (1829), and Henriette von England (1832).
