Date of birth unknown; d. 1136, Germany

Jutta lived at the monastery of Disibodenberg and there she formed a community of Benedictine nuns, of which she became the first prioress. Jutta was entrusted with the care of the child Hildegarde of Bingen, who would become a famous mystic. When Jutta died, Hildegarde succeeded her as prioress.
