Teacher Workshop: Exploring Symbolism in East Asian Ceramics

Wednesday, April 19, 2023

4:30–7 pm

Meet in the Education Studios, 1st Floor

Join us in this art-making workshop for educators exploring symbolism found in nature with ceramic works from our Arts of Asia collection. Looking at objects ranging from storage jars to offering vessels, reimagine these forms and their decorations using coil-building techniques and self-hardening clay. No prior ceramic experience is necessary.

This program is free; registration is required.
