Tasting: In Search of Israeli Cuisine
Calling all foodies! Whet your palate before the screening ofIn Search of Israeli Cuisine with a tasting prepared by two award-winning chefs. Michael Solomonov (winner of the 2011 James Beard Award for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic and co-owner of Philadelphia's highly rated Zahav) and our very own Michelin-starred Saul Bolton (chef of the soon-to-open restaurant The Norm at the Brooklyn Museum) team up to create an inspiring sampling of modern Israeli cuisine.
The menu includes eleven small-plate dishes including grilled marinated eggplant with fenugreek tomato chutney; chicken pastilla with cinnamon and almonds; and quinoa, pea, and mint tabbouleh, all complimented by Israeli wine, beer, and limonata. Vegetarian options also available.
Tickets are $44, which includes Museum admission and preferred seating for the film screening, and $68 with a copy of Solomonov's critically acclaimed Zahav: A World of Israeli Cooking. Members can email us for a discount code.
