Fourth Annual Intern Convening
Calling all NYC interns, emerging arts professionals, and those interested in the museum field! Join a full day of in-person programming at the Brooklyn Museum’s fourth annual Intern Convening. Museum interns will facilitate conversations and activities analyzing the current state of cultural institutions. You’ll also find opportunities for career development.
The first half of the day will focus on increasing access to cultural institutions for underserved communities and the importance of community-oriented projects. The afternoon will highlight work culture within art institutions, as well as the realities of working freelance, being part of a union, and job searching. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with arts professionals and one another.
