Thursday, October 31, 2019

7–11 pm

Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Auditorium, 3rd Floor

Celebrate Halloween with Emmy-nominated actress Zazie Beetz and writer-actor David Rysdahl as we close out the film series The Most Scared I’ve Ever Been. Warm up with the short horror-comedy GREAT CHOICE (Robin Comisar, 2017, 7 min.). Then, Beetz and Rysdahl screen and discuss the supernatural horror film Under the Shadow (Babak Anvari, 2016, 84 min.), which follows a mother and daughter who are haunted by a mysterious evil force in 1980s Tehran, during the Iran-Iraq war. After the film, dance the night away at the after party, which features a cinematic audio-visual DJ set by Little Cinema.

Part of the film series The Most Scared I’ve Ever Been.

Tickets are $16 for each event and include Museum general admission (purchase tickets for Pierre Cardin separately). Member tickets are $14. Not a Member? Join today!
