Drawing and Music: Infinite Blue Line
Saturday, July 22, 2017
2–4 pm
Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion and Lobby, 1st Floor
Experience blue in all its variety with an evening of music and drawing inspired by our special exhibition Infinite Blue. Musicians from the Jazz Foundation of America play live blues music inspired by the exhibition, while artist Kayti Didriksen facilitates a workshop of blind contour drawing. Sharpen your observation skills and mental acuity while engaging with music and art on an interactive, multisensory level, and get lost with us in a world of blue.
Presented in collaboration with Platform Projects and the Jazz Foundation of America, with support from New York State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Free with Museum admission.
Part of A Year of Yes: Reimagining Feminism at the Brooklyn Museum.
