dapperQ Presents Dress Code

Kick off New York Fashion Week with dapperQ’s fifth annual queer runway showcase. This year, “Dress Code” examines clothing as a coded language and one of the first visible markers of our identities, inviting you to consider the way garments uphold or challenge rigid stereotypes.

Mix and mingle at a happy hour sponsored by Henrietta Hudson, New York City’s longest-standing brick and mortar lesbian bar, and check out pop-up shops from some of the evening’s featured designers before the runway showcase featuring Thuy Custom Clothier, A/C Space by Angie Chuang, Audio Helkuik, By Nicole Wilson, SALT, Stuzo, Jag and Co, TomboyX featuring Squirrel vs. Coyote, The Phluid Project, and more.

Schedule:

• 6 pm "Sip and Shop": Happy hour, pop-up shops, GIF booth, and beats by DJ M.O.

• 8:15 pm Runway showcase
