Conversation: Turning an Internship Into a Career

Thursday, March 28, 2019, 6:30–9 pm

Join us for a panel discussion with alumni of our Museum Education Fellowship Program who are making an impact in the art world, as they share the philosophies that guide their work in the arts and reflect on how their time as Education Fellows shaped that vision. Panelists include Sonnet Takahisa, Director of Strategic Education Initiatives, Newark Museum; Johanna Gorelick, Education Manager, Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian; Jason Yoon, faculty at Goucher College and former Director of Education, Queens Museum; Legacy Russell, Associate Curator of Exhibitions, Studio Museum in Harlem; and Camilo Godoy, artist and educator. Moderated by Keonna Hendrick, Manager of School Programs. After the discussion, stay for a reception with alumni and a cash bar.

This event is free, but please RSVP.
