Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra: Wagner, Brahms, and Vaughan Williams

Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra opens its 46th season (and its first as Brooklyn Museum Orchestra in Residence) with music by Richard Wagner and Johannes Brahms, led by guest conductor Ian Shafer. Then, special guest violinist Russell Kotcher is soloist in Ralph Vaughan Williams’s ravishing piece “The Lark Ascending.”
Advance tickets are $15 for seniors and Museum Members, and $20 for non-Members; day-of tickets are $25 at the door. Free for youth 16 and under. Tickets are available through the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra (purchase tickets for Pierre Cardin: Future Fashion separately).
