Tuesday, September 17, 2024

6–9 pm

Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Auditorium, 3rd Floor

Celebrate the release of marine biologist and policy expert Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson’s book What If We Get It Right? Visions of Climate Futures with friends and contributors from across the fields of culture and science.

A captivating new anthology on possible climate futures, What If We Get It Right? sugarcoats nothing while imagining the myriad opportunities we still have to get things right. The book features interviews with experts and crystal-clear data alongside transformative poetry and visual art.

The evening features conversations with and performances of music, poetry, and comedy by her constellation of friends and collaborators, who are all working together to imagine and manifest a better climate future.

Starting at 6 pm, enjoy a reception in the Beaux-Arts Court, 3rd Floor, before the talk at 7 pm.
