A group of people, many with their arms crossed, stand in a white gallery with brightly colored works against the walls. A teaching artist in a teal shirt points towards the artwork behind her as she looks out to the group.

ASL Tour

Saturday, February 8, 2020

2–3:30 pm

Meet in the Rubin Lobby, 1st Floor

Visitors from the D/deaf community are invited to experience our collection in an American Sign Language (ASL) tour, led by a Deaf teaching artist. The tour is in ASL only, without voice interpretation. Light refreshments are provided before the tour. This month’s tour investigates visions of power 200 years apart in Jacques-Louis David Meets Kehinde Wiley.

The program is free, but registration is required. Due to limited capacity, we cannot allow ASL students to attend, but please email access@brooklynmuseum.org for more information about private tours for ASL students.

Questions? Email us at access@brooklynmuseum.org or call 718.501.6520. Relay calls welcome.
