CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Tall bell shaped body in knotted & plied construction, beautifully executed in fine yarn. Surface decoration of raised diamond shaped ribbing. Some spaces are filled with small raised dots which follow diamond outlines, others with raised over-and-under woven pattern and dots. The bottom opening is an undecorated band. Probably related in technique to hats 22.1606 and 22.1626.
Condition: Very good. Fibers strong and knotted structure intact. Slight staining in some areas. white powder is embedded in the surface. At the point where the final coarse of knots connected to the row above it, the structure has been slightly damaged.
