Euryleon
Flourished circa 250 B.C.E., Sparta, ancient Greece
The correct spelling of this name is EURYLEONIS.
Euryleonis was an athlete from Sparta who, like the Spartan princess Cynisca, won in the chariot races of the Olympic Games. She was the first woman victor of the third century B.C.E., following Cynisca in the fourth century. According to the Greek travel writer Pausanias (flourished C.E. 143–176), a statue of Euryleonis was erected at Sparta.
