On International Day of Provenance Research, curators Annissa Malvoisin (Postdoctoral Fellow, Arts of Africa), and Yekaterina Barbash (Curator of Egyptian Art), lead an after-hours walkthrough of African Ancestors of Egypt and Nubia: From the Green Sahara to the Nile. Get a close look at ancient Nubian and Egyptian vessels to learn how craft, geography, and cross-cultural exchange inform our view of ancient worlds and our understanding of the history of artworks.
