2–2 pm
Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, Forum, 4th Floor
The Creative Growth Art Center serves more than 160 adults with developmental, mental, and physical disabilities by providing them with studio space for artistic endeavors, a gallery, and professional representation. Its director, Tom di Maria, talks about the organization’s history, the environment where the works on view in Judith Scott—Bound and Unbound were created, and Scott’s growth as an artist. Joyce Scott, Judith’s sister, reads from her memoir, offering another perspective on the artist.
Free with Museum admission.
