9–11 am
Beaux-Arts Court, 3rd Floor
Members at the Family level ($110) and above will enjoy art activities, a scavenger hunt, breakfast, and the chance to meet Brooklyn-based artist Swoon at our annual Family Day.
Members and their children will also have the opportunity to explore our exhibition Swoon: Submerged Motherlands before the Museum opens to the public. Swoon has transformed our fifth-floor rotunda gallery with a site-specific installation centering on a monumental sculptural tree rising into the 72-foot-high dome. This tree is surrounded by a constructed environment featuring the artist’s figurative prints, cut paper foliage, and boats. It’s sure to inspire creativity and art-making!
Please note this event is for children ages five through twelve.
