7–7 pm
Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion, 1st Floor
Join us for an evening of culture and chaos led by these two seminal and controversial thinkers. Familiar voices on The Colbert Report, PBS, TED Talks, and in the New York Times, cultural thinkers and media theorists Doug Rushkoff and Steven Berlin Johnson will give the lowdown on navigating the new universe of technological advancement and human innovation, and unpack the hopes and concerns inherent in popular culture. Cyberenthusiasts and technophobes welcome. A book signing will follow the discussion. Tickets, which include Museum admission, can be purchased at www.brownpapertickets.com for $10; $6 for members and cultural colleagues. Seating is limited, and advance ticket purchase is recommended.
